Social Distancing in Business - Screens

How to make the most of your space now and later.

Do you have any outdoor areas attached to your business that you can not use due to the lack of shelter? Do you have a patio or rooftop deck that can only be used in nice weather since there is no way to block the harsher elements? Do you have a large lot that could use an alternate break area for your employees? These are all examples of ways that we can help you accommodate more people now and later. We talked about some of these options in the previous post and we will focus on more options in this article.

Today we are featuring:

Motorized Screens

Today we are highlighting Stormbreakers Brewery Patio. This is an excellent example of space that was not usable in all weather. Between the wind, rain, and colder temperatures, this space was only really utilized in the warm summer months. Privacy is another highlight of having screens. You can see out, but people can not see in.

Now you can visit Stormbreaker Brewery in St. Johns any time of the year and sit on the patio. There are heating lamps for when it is cold, and the screens keep out the rain but still allow the fresh air to flow.

During this time of social distance seating, having a patio or deck could significantly increase the number of patrons an establishment can host at one time—more space to spread out.

Some places may have rooftop access with the ability to use that space as another area for seating. Only you know your situation at hand. However, we can help if you do have room to use that needs shelter from the elements. Great creative! Think out of your box and how you can expand it.

These tips may help you invite more customers in now, but you will also be setting yourself up for success for the rest of the year by offering open-air seating options! The PNW loves the outdoors, and they love their restaurants and pubs!
