When you think of an awning, what usually comes to people's minds is what we would call a stationary awning. There is more than one type of stationary awning. The difference between the styles is found in the frame, the construction of the fabric, and lastly, their function.

Welded Frames / Staple-On Awnings
Welded framed stationary awnings have a nice clean, and crisp look to them. They fit tightly on aluminum frames. Welded Frame Awnings are particularly suitable for areas where you want a fixed structure for permanent coverage. We can customize the aluminum frames to fit any space. There are many elegant styles to choose from. Another option with the welded design is to eliminate most of the thread. In this case, you would get a staple-on style awning. Both versions of the welded awnings are fitted and have a nice modern look to them.
Rope Pull Up / RPU Awnings
Rope Pull-Up Awnings are versatile in ways similar to the retractable awnings we featured last week. However, as you can imagine, RPU’s are much smaller in scale. RPU’s can be raised and easily cleaned off in winter, which is nice for easy maintenance. Then allowing you the option to have the sunlight and warmth warm up your home. Then in the summer, it is effortless to drop the awnings back down to keep your home shaded and cooler.
Pipe Frame Awnings
Pipe frame awnings are the most traditional type of awning there is. When you imagine an awning in your mind, more than likely, a pipe frame is what you are picturing! The overall look of a pipe frame awning is relaxed compared to the welded frame awning. Often a pipe frame awning is accompanied by a valance with a straight finish or potentially a braided scallop. There are many colors and styles, so we can custom design an awning just for you.
